Silas Inoues virke omfatter tegning, maleri, poesi, skulptur og installation. Det er ofte interessen for det spirituelle og det ukendte som er udgangspunktet for hans værker.
Herfra udvikler værkerne sig i forskellige retninger i en arbejdsproces dedikeret til både intuition og en kontemplativ fordybelse i materialet.

Silas Inoue (f. 1981 i Danmark) bor og arbejder i København. Han er uddannet MA i Visuel Kommunikation fra Kunstakademiets Designskole i 2010, med udvekslingsophold ved Jan Matejki, Academy of Fine Art, Krakow i 2009 og ved Osaka University, Faculty og Art & Design, Japan i 2008.

About the artist
Silas Inoue´s oeuvre includes drawing, painting, poetry, sculpture, and installation. It is most often an interest in the spiritual, and the unknown that serve as basis for a diversity of studies and creations. From this starting point his works unfolds in different directions, in a process dedicated to both intuition and a contemplating immersion into the material.

Silas Inoue (b. 1981, Denmark) currently lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a graduate MA Visual Communication from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design in 2010. From 2008-2009 he studied at Jan Matejki, Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow Pl, and as a scholarship student at Osaka Seikei University, Faculty of Art and Design, Osaka JP in 2007-2008.
