ABOUT THE ARTIST
Mathias Malling Mortensen (born in Odense, Denmark, 1980) has studied in the Danish School of Media and Journalism. With a strong emphasis on the dynamics occurring when adding empty space to a canvas, Mortensen is constantly exploring spatiality, texture, form and poetry in his work. The balance between surfaces and lines make up the subject in his non-figurative pieces.
