ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Far Side of the Moon" is a very limited edition screen print designed by Victor Ash. It was released in June 2019 in conjunction with a mural in Berlin painted by the French artist as well as an exhibition focused on the moon. Continuing with the space exploration familiar to the artist, it depicts the other side of the moon which was only recently photographed.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Victor Ash (born in Portugal, 1968) started his artistic career as a graffiti writer in the early 1980s. He was part of the Parisian graffiti collective BBC. He is known for his large scale figurative monochrome paintings, canvas paintings, installations and various other projects. Ash has been exhibiting his works in institutions such as the Saatchi Gallery London, Palais de Tokyo Paris and Weserburg Museum für moderne Kunst, Bremen to name a few.
The artist lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
