  1. ORDER CONFIRMATION

By accepting these terms and conditions, and upon confirmation of the customer’s order, a written and binding agreement is entered between the customer and limitedworks.com. Once an order is completed on limitedworks.com, the customer will automatically receive a confirmation of the purchase.

  1. AGE RESTRICTION

If the customer is under 18, permission must be obtained from a parent or other person of authority.

  1. PAYMENT

Limitedworks.com accepts Dankort, VISA/Dankort, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, Paypal and Mobilepay. If payment is by debit or credit card, the customer must enter all the necessary information on the card and, in the case of a transaction with 3D Secure, the security code. All information is sent securely to limitedworks.com, using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) through an encrypted connection. This prevents any unknown and unauthorized sources from accessing customer information. limitedworks.com does not store customer credit card information after completing the transaction. If payment is through PayPal, the customer can safely transfer money for the transaction with SSL (Secure Socket Layer) and an encrypted connection.

If you pay through PayPal, you are not protected by the scheme granting the right to object. Read more about the conditions on the PayPal website.

The amount will not be withdrawn from your card until your order has been dispatched.

As limitedworks.com sells works of art on behalf of Danish and international artists, prices may contain different VAT rates depending on which artists who own the works. Therefore VAT rates on artworks sold through limitedworks.com vary from 0 %, 5 % and 25 %. All prices on frames include 25 % Danish VAT. 

Prices are without shipping costs or other services that limitedworks.com may offer. limitedworks.com reserves the right to change prices at any time. On limitedworks.com prices are shown in the following currencies: Danish Kroner (DKK), U.S. Dollars (USD), Euro (EUR), British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and Norwegian Kroner (NOK).

  1. LOCAL LEVIES

Please note that local import duties vary by country and region. These taxes are to be paid by the customer.

  1. VAT EXEMPT PURCHASES (FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF THE EU)

When shopping from outside the EU the VAT will be removed automatically in the checkout process when the shipping country is selected.

Prices do not include payment or delivery charges.

The VAT is removed because customers outside the EU risk paying local import taxes. These charges are the responsibility of you, the buyer, and are set by local tax authorities in your country.

  1. RETURN RIGHTS

As a consumer, when you place an order with us, you have a 14-day period, in which you have the right to return your order.

This period expires 14 days after you have received your order. If you have ordered several items in the same purchase, and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you received the last item.

You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods unless you give us notice via our email hello@limitedworks.com

Return part of the purchase

If you have purchased more than one item from us, you can return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order.

Returning the goods

When you have informed us that you are canceling your purchase, you have 14 days in which to return the goods to us.

Shipments do not include a return label and return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the products are damaged, which is further explained later in section 7. (CLAIMS)

For international customers, we strongly advise your return shipment to have a traceable service, so it can be located at all times. Please note that the customer must retain the receipt of the return shipment until the product is received and refunded by limitedworks.com. We only accept returns sent directly to the address below.

Please remember to write Att: RETURN on the outside of the package to ensure a swift transit through any customs offices it may encounter. Excluding this information can result in a delay of your return – and in worse case the customs office will send the package back to your address.


The state of the item when you return it

If the value of an artwork or frame is reduced, and the reason is that you have handled it in any way beyond what was necessary to unpack and examine, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the saleable value of the item, and in certain cases this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded.

We recommend that you return the item in its original packaging.
If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the item.

Refund of the purchase sum

If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the value of the item is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (which does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form of delivery other than the cheapest standard form of delivery which we offer), not later than 14 days from the day when we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement.

We will return the money by the same means of payment that you used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed.

We may hold back the payment until we have received the item unless you send the documentation that you have returned it.

  1. CLAIMS

When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies. This means that all factory produced items bought on limitedworks.com have a 2-year manufacturing warranty. You must make your complaint within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered a defect. If you complain within two months after discovering a defect, it will always be regarded as within a reasonable time.


Damages and issues 

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. If your product is damaged upon arrival, we will cover all expenses to return the product no matter where you are located. You can choose between having a new product sent to you (if possible) once the damaged or wrong item arrives back to us, or receive either a partial or full refund depending on the damage. 

Please start by sending us an email at hello@limitedworks.com with as many details as possible about the defect. Remember to include your order number and a few pictures of the faulty item. We will try to resolve any issue with a faulty item and process your claim as quickly as possible. 

IMPORTANT: Do keep in mind that we mostly sell handmade works of art produced in the studios and print workshops of the respective artists. In contrast to a mass produced offset posters, irregularities will sometimes appear on handmade artworks on paper. Therefore, tiny scratches, stains or even an artist´s fingerprint, should not necessarily be considered as defects, but rather as a natural and charming part of the handmade work. Having said that, we are not interested in dissatisfied customers and we therefore treat all complaints equally.

  1. SHIPPING

limitedworks.com dispatch orders with Postnord or in some cases Fed-Ex to all destinations. All packages are insured and have a tracking number so the package can be traced.

Delivery times for Denmark and the rest of Europe are 2-3 working days.
IMPORTANT: Please note that we only ship orders during our service hours which are Wednesday to Saturday.

Orders for outside of Europe are delivered within 2-5 working days. limitedworks.com accepts no responsibility for delays in customs processes outside the EU. Delivery times are a guide.

We offer free world wide shipping to orders above 2000 DKK / 400 EUR / 390 USD / 2800 NOK / 235 GBP

Zone 1: Denmark: 70 DKK / 9,5 EUR

Zone 2: Sweden, Finland, Faroe Islands, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg: 110 DKK / 15 EUR

Zone 3: The rest of the world*: 200-300 DKK / 26-40 EUR

Artworks are carefully packed and shipped in high quality cardboard tubes with an extra layer of protective cardboard. We mainly use packaging made of recycled materials and aim to keep our use of plastic at a minimum. 

*We do not offer shipping to Russia.

We only ship framed works up to 40 x 50 cm and only ship these domestically to addresses in Denmark. Unfortunately we do not offer shipping framed works outside of Denmark with our standard shipping service. However if this is of interest to you, you are welcome to request a price via email.

  1. PRIVACY

Limitedworks.com treats customer information with the utmost respect and integrity. No information will be disclosed to third parties. 

We need the following information when you trade with us:

Name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address.

We register and pass on the personal details which are necessary to deliver the goods to you.

Personal data is registered with Limited Works and is kept for five years, after which the details are deleted.

In addition, we work with a number of other companies who store and process data. These companies process the data exclusively on our behalf, and must not use them for their own purposes.

We work only with processors of data in the EU or in countries where your data will be given adequate protection.

You are entitled to be told what details about you we process.

If you believe the details are inaccurate, you are entitled to have them corrected. In certain situations, we are obliged to delete your personal data if you ask us to do so. These could, for instance, be data which are no longer necessary for the purpose we used them for. You can also contact us if you believe that your personal data are being processed in a way that is against the law. You can also write to us at: hello@limitedworks.com.

By using our website, you (the visitor) agrees to allow third parties to process your IP address, in order to determine your location for the purpose of currency conversion. You also agree to have that currency stored in a session cookie in your browser (a temporary cookie which gets automatically removed when you close your browser). We do this in order for the selected currency to remain selected and consistent when browsing our website so that the prices can convert to your (the visitor) local currency.
